Margot’s Kid Room
Margot grew up in the nursery but when baby sister was due to arrive, I started work on converting the office into Margot’s little kid room. I set up a desk for myself in the dining room (and moved a bunch of my junk to the garage!) to prepare to make a space just for Margot. She has always had free reign of the house, and we loved having her play area in the living room, where we could be all together, but boy are we glad to have the growing number of trinkets and collections in her new room. She has toy storage, a comfy rug to spread out and play, a twin bed, the most charming backdrop, and light flooding through the windows with views of the trees. We all agree its the best room in the house.
