Nursery
I’m so pleased to show you around my favorite room in the house for my favorite human in the world! The wallpaper, the colorful furniture, the plush rug, and the comfy seating - it couldn’t be more sweet and cozy - just like Margot.
I’m making slow but steady nursery progress, and the latest is a cute lil’ bookshelf for Margot to enjoy as she grows. Best of all, it magically fits oh-so-perfectly on the otherwise unusable wall.
We added a wall in what some folks would think is a wonky way. But, it’s come together so much more perfectly than I could have hoped! Here’s the evolution of a transformation that’s re-shaped the flow of our house.
Life after birthing a baby is wild! The new little human is a lot to handle, and on top of it, my body was all out of sorts. There have been a few items and resources that I can’t imagine living without during these first few months after birth, so I’ve rounded them up here.
It’s been nearly three months since Margot was born! Over two whole months since this little nugget came into our lives. Here’s her birth story.
I announced that we’re having a baby three months ago, so you’d think that as a home blogger I’d be sharing all about the design process. But I haven’t been, have I? I’m here to give you the scoop and also ask your thoughts on the matter. I’m covering the layout and the initial design concept.
I teamed up with friends to help them put together a nursery for their first baby! And when I say, “teamed up” I mean that I weaseled my way into their project to help them bring their design together. I’ve never planned a nursery so I jumped at the chance to flex my creative muscles in not-so-familiar ways.

Margot is getting an upgraded room to make space for baby sister in the nursery.
