All of My One Room Challenge Videos

Can you believe the One Room Challenge is finished? I can and I can't. It's been such a MAJOR part of my life for the past several months. I have committed every waking moment to working on the projects that made the room into what it is today. What will I do with all this free time?

As you probably know, I've been making weekly videos to show updates on each of the weeks, so here's a recap of all of those videos with links to each blog post that has each and every detail included. As a reminder, the One Room Challenge is a six-week design challenge with six blog posts. However because I don't start the project until after the week 1 post goes live, I only have FIVE weeks to complete the room transformation, thus five videos!

Week 1-2

In week 1, I shared my plans and inspiration for the master bedroom, and by week 2 I removed a doorway and we updated electrical.

In this first week of the One Room Challenge, I emptied the master bedroom and moved into the den, brought the electrician in to rewire the bedroom, closed off the doorway to the kitchen, and made one of many trips to the hardware store.

Week 2-3

Between week 2 and week 3, I installed board and batten to dress up the room. Get the full tutorial here.

Week 3-4

After deciding we were adding a door to the backyard, I realized that the outdoor space needed something to want to walk out to admire, so I started work on exterior updates by week 4.

It's week 4 of the One Room Challenge! I'm venturing outside to clean up the backyard and create a seating area off of the master bedroom. Check out the last two weeks of videos to see what I've been up to and visit the blog for more details.

Week 4-5

Week 4 to 5 was a big transformation with the addition of the exterior door and new paint on the walls! Get the scoop here.

It's week 5 of the One Room Challenge! This week, the new door from Pella was installed, I built a deck with a friend, and then prepped and painted the walls in beautiful hues from Farrow & Ball (with the help of more family and friends!)

Week 6 Reveal

So much was accomplished in the final week, but I wrapped it up into a video tour and comprehensive look at each and every item in the room for the grand reveal.
