I’m totally in love with this log home refresh. Jean kept so much of the original charm of the space while updating the functionality to balance new and old.

I ordered this $6 old house part yesterday and I can’t wait for it to arrive. I wish I ordered it four years ago! Any guesses what I’ll do with it?

Today is America Recycles Day and it’s not as great as it may sound. Here’s a very brief look at the history of the day and why we’re putting blame on the wrong people.

This caption perfectly shares what it’s like to be on the other side of Instagram.

I got lots of questions about my lip balm on Instagram stories the other day so here it is for you. It comes in a compostable tube, is composed of five simple ingredients, and is so perfectly tinted without being heavy. Also, I confessed that I wear the same clothes day after day in a row until they need to be washed. This is my favorite blouse. It’s linen and short-sleeved so its more suited for spring and summer, but it’s still hot here so that’s what I’m wearin’ now!

There’s nothing wrong with being alone.

This homestead is for sale in Maine and I’m. In. Love.

Are you shopping for holiday gifts? Here are all of my gift guides in one convenient spot for ya. Admittedly, I don’t do gifts. I’ve been asking family and friends to not buy me anything for years. I first started insisting on only buying things from my list of items I needed, then I insisted only on gift cards and my favorite candles, and now I’m putting my foot down about not exchanging gifts at all. I’m working on putting a blog post together about this. Do you have struggles with gift-giving and receiving that I can address in this post? Tell me in the comments here.

I’ve been thinking about this daily and it still boggles my mind.

I’ve been crushing on the trailers for two new movies but they aren’t out in theatres in my region yet. Mark your calendars for when Marriage Story and Waves comes to your town (or Netflix). I’m sure they are going to be exceptional. I’m actually headed to LA this weekend, so I’m planning my schedule around showtimes to see at least one of these films!

Happy Friday!
