Weekly Roundup

We were out of town for most of the week and took a break from the kitchen renovation (and the blog!), but I still have some inspiration from the week to share.

Natasha has been working with her mom to make over her childhood kitchen and the reveal is everything I hoped for and more! They sourced most everything secondhand from Craigslist and online auctions. The result is fresh yet lived-in - I love it.

While Ross and I were in San Francisco, I met up with my blogger bud Brittany from the blog BrittanyMakes. She and I met up to go to the flea market and hang out, but she also helped me figure out the plan for the rug placement and size in the kitchen. I’ll share more details in a dedicated blog post, so stay tuned. But in the meantime, I recommend you check out Brittany’s rugs and housewares!

I get asked about the products in my home - from the decor items to the kind of toothpaste I use - on the daily. So, I set up an Amazon Storefront where I’ve categorized the things I own into different shops like cleaning supplies, painting supplies, home renovation tools, beauty products, lighting and electrical, bedroom decor, and more. Get every last thing at the link here. As always, you can shop each of my rooms here where you can also get paint colors, non-Amazon products, and even the room makeover DIY tutorials.

I’m digging these upcycled fire hoses as cabinet hardware. Sounds funny, I know - but they’re way classier than it sounds.
