Weekly Roundup

Natasha sent me this kitchen (designed by Artichoke) and said it reminded her a bit of my kitchen. I was so flattered! It’s funny because it has elements of what I’ve been thinking of adding to the kitchen but haven’t - a red table, a pot rack, and more textiles. Natasha has been listening to me ramble on about my kitchen for years and years, so she knows what’s up.

Still We Rise is hosting another auction benefiting reproductive rights! Bid on items from small shops and independent makers to benefit Planned Parenthood, National Network of Abortion Funds, or the Afiya Center. Auction closes on the 11th - learn how to bid here and scroll through all of the items up for auction here.

Margot has been growing out of her clothes this past month. I’m bummed this doesn’t fit her anymore - it’s so soft and it’s what she wore for her 0th birthday (even when it was way too big at the time).

Speaking of lil’ Margie, her favorite book is this one. She’s clocked in maaaaany hours of “reading” it but it still amazes her each time she flips a page.

San Diego locals, the next Green Homes Tour is coming up in a couple of weeks. I went on the 2019 tour and wrote about my experience (both positive and negative!) here.

I plucked a few flowers from the yard that were in bloom when Margot was born and pressed them. Now that they’ve dried, I just framed them and I can’t wait to keep the sentimental keepsake forever. The frame I got turned out to be poor quality, so I wish I got this one or this one.

Can you guess our family Halloween costume? I ordered this for Ross, we have this for Margot, and I’ll need these.

To My Mom Friends Who Had Kids Before Me: I am Sorry I Didn’t Know

A friend made us these salted dark chocolate pistachio quinoa crunch bars and loved them so much I immediately asked for the recipe.

The sweetest.
