Weekly Roundup

I’m back with my Weekly Roundups! I was sick for the past couple of weeks so I missed last week’s collection of inspiration from around the web. I write these posts on Thursday night so the inspiration I share is fresh come Friday morning. But I just couldn’t bring myself to write it when I felt ill. I become a big complaining baby when I’m sick so I just had to lounge around for a week watching True Detective and The Great British Baking Show. But I’m feeling 98% myself so I’m back with goodies for you. Ready? Go.

My friend Natasha has undoubtedly the prettiest kitchen I’ve ever set foot in. She’s been living in this dreamy space for years now but waited until yesterday to share a full reveal blog post all about it and oh my word everything is spectacular. She just added a few more antique pieces and it’s oozing with character. If you want to see her whole house tour (who wouldn’t?!) click here.

I’ve been channeling Natasha and hunting for antique pieces for my home and especially for the kitchen renovation. In fact, Natasha and I are always texting about our online auction house finds and even tried to buy the same set of stools - she won! Anyway, I’m on the hunt for antique stools that looks just like this (so pretty, amiright?!) But I want them 90% cheaper and 100 years older. Do let me know if you spot some that fit the bill.

I watched HOURS of baking videos while I was sick so I got the itch to bake. This week I whipped up these super easy sourdough English muffins and this vegan chocolate cake. So so good!

My baking scale went kaput the other day so I upgraded to this new one. It’s insanely well-reviewed and 20% off with free shipping, so I snagged it!

As a wildly indecisive person that also likes spreadsheets, this decision matrix story of apartment hunting hit close to home.

I spotted artist Ariel Lee that did a paint-by-numbers style mural which naturally reminded me of my own. I adore her work that you can see more of here or buy a print here.

How to Stop Freaking Out and Tackle Climate Change. Yeah, I’m still freaked out. But this article is helpful for folks drowning in guilt about their plastics and in need of a step back to look at the whole picture.

This bathroom makeover is too cute for words.

I’ve been digging the podcast, The Impact, lately. In this season, they’re looking at the ideas of our presidential candidates and visiting how those concepts have existed in other places or times, then reflecting on how they could apply in our future.

Happy Friday!
